• A faded, partially transparent image of Misa Amane appears very briefly during the beginning of the ending sequence.
• Toward the end of the ending sequence, two shots of Light's eye flash briefly. His eye in these shots reflects images of Ryuk and L, respectively.
• This is the only main opening/ending theme that was not released as a single. "Coda", the instrumental ending theme of the final episode, was also not released as a single.
