People argue that Tsugumi Ohba is a pen name. Some say Hiroshi Gamou is the author of Death Note manga. Others say it is Asami Yuuko! Well! I guess, as crazy as it may sound, the Author has no certain name ( Remember; a nameless orphan) He is all Hiroshi, Asami, Tsugumi and any other. This means that a search for the author's name is not the right beginning, maybe more attention should be given to the characters, L in specific. L used a name of a celebrity Hideki Ryuga as well as the Author used the name Asami Yuuko. What about the fake rule; If the user of the Death Note fails to consecutively write names within 13 days of each other, then the user will die, in how to use list of the death note. Why 13 days and why the Author wrote How to read 13! Why 13? In an interview mentioned in How to read the Author talks about the American setting in the manga he says he used the internet for this. So he/she doesn't like travelling! L doesn't leave his room that much as well! A point worth mentioning, is that through my search on this matter, I read that the Author sets the way L does, and collect tea-cups as a famous writer called Philip.K.Dick whos death was by a heart attack. The letter K in Philip's name is Kindred similar to one of the chapters in Death Note manga titled as Kindred. Even though the Author explains the title, things still suspicious, at least for me.The Author introduces the female factor in the manga as easily manipulated and stupid in some sense. Even the clever ones were driven by their imotions to a bad end as in Takada Kiyomi's case. This may reduce the possibility of him/her being a female author. But if the Author wants to trick us, it may be the total opposite possibility. On the other hand, the male factor in the manga is represented mostly as manipulative and cunning. I think the Author is trying to misguide us so that no one will konw his/her real identity.
